My PC is getting sick. Can’t even access Add/Remove programs. Even the articles reviewing registry cleaners are just advertisements. Anybody recommend a good one based on experience?

im planning on getting a registry cleaner because my computer has been working really slow lately, i know its not because a virus and i have 126GB of available memory so i dont think thats the problem neither, my friend told me i need to get a registry cleaning sofware but im still NOT SURE.. which one should i get?

Most peeps will use free ccleaner, It has backup for if you mess up, gets rid of temp files real well, for the registry, pay attention to what it finds. But, as i said , if you mess up ,, it make a back up of what it cleans. .~

Doesnt have to be a free one.

There are a ton of registry repair products online now. I recently reviewed a whole bunch of them and most of the turned out to be junk. A few are worth trying out and did a pretty good job. RegCure was one and Registry Easy.

I wanted to know what is the best registry cleaner on the market today? I have heard registry easy is the best from http://www.registrycleanersrated.com but wanted to know if anyone knows of a way I can fix my registry myself without a program. I am a real do it yourself type of guy,lol. Thanks

I did it myself manually once, when my computer browser had been hijacked. There is some risk, but it worked for me.

Go into your Sys32 folder and start deleting the recent files. If there is bad stuff elsewhere, they will replicate. The key is to figure out where the files are that are replicating the bad registry entries. I made judgment calls based upon file names and got lucky.

Adaware is free and does a pretty good job.

Which is the best registry cleaner to use and what kind of price should I be paying or are there any sites free like AVG? Most that I’ve looked at are US based are there any in UK or does it not matter???? Thanks

It certainly does not matter which one you use U.K or U.S.A, but the ones I use are Ccleaner which is excellent and Registry Mechanic from PCTools again very good and I think are both free, I know Ccleaner is definately free and when I installed Registry Mechanic that was also free… Hope this helps
