What Is The Best Registry Cleaner Out?

I wanted to know what is the best registry cleaner on the market today? I have heard registry easy is the best from http://www.registrycleanersrated.com but wanted to know if anyone knows of a way I can fix my registry myself without a program. I am a real do it yourself type of guy,lol. Thanks

I did it myself manually once, when my computer browser had been hijacked. There is some risk, but it worked for me.

Go into your Sys32 folder and start deleting the recent files. If there is bad stuff elsewhere, they will replicate. The key is to figure out where the files are that are replicating the bad registry entries. I made judgment calls based upon file names and got lucky.

Adaware is free and does a pretty good job.

    I really like ad-aware. If you go to http://www.downloads.com you can find a free version and it cleans your registry very thoroughly and gets rid of all the ads too.

    Ccleaner. great tool for all around and it’s free. i have a computer repair business and it is the one i use on a regular basis. small file download and does not run in the background.

    google about windows registry and click on pctools.com\guide (the second non-sponsor answer down). they tel you how to fix your registry, and tweak it.
