What is the Best free Registry Cleaner?
My comp has been slowing up and Windows Defender and Mcafee have been telling me there are no viruses, spyware, etc…(Although Recently i just fought off a large batch of them) So I am beginning to think its my registrar so what do you think is the best free Registry Cleaner?
I personally like CCleaner and Advanced WindowsCare Personal because they do more than just clean my registry. CCleaner also has the option to save changes to the registry in case you need to revert back.
CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system – allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. CCleaner also fixes your registry. But the best part is that it’s fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware.
Advanced WindowsCare Personal is a comprehensive PC care utility that takes a one-click approach to help protect, repair, and optimize your computer.
Other free registry cleaners available include Eusing Free Registry Cleaner, Registry Distiller and TweakNow RegCleaner Standard.

I’d also like to know this. Everyone I have tried scans and finds them but they want money to clean them off. There’s a bunch of free ones to scan your computer, just none to take them off for free. Maybe I am wrong, I hope I am.

I wouldnt touch your registry, eventhogh there are software out there. The registry is to delicate, if you make one change it might make things worse.
Clean out all your temps. internet cache. Get AVG (free) for antivirus.
Remove applications which you do not use anymore. The more applications on the disk the slower the PC gets.

From the first time you use your computer the registry starts to build up unwanted files and errors. The only way to get rid of these errors is with a good registry cleaner. You should stay away from free registry cleaners because you really don’t know what your getting and there is know guarantee that they won’t make the problem worse. The Registry is a fragile place and if you mess it up with a free cleaner, your not going to get any support from where you got it. You know the old saying "you get what you pay for".
