   Your brain is your best defense. Be more careful when you surf the net. Get FireFox for general surfing. Visit http://www.mozilla.com

   Learn how to avoid trouble, but looking at the URL during searches and decide if that name is TOO BOGUS to be real. Close ALL windows immediately when you see trouble.

   Get street smart.

   no one program is best. run several and each one will come up with different results. you have run some of the better ones but there are others including online scans.

    I know what works for me, but you will have to experiment, like i did, to find what works for you, I have a combination of AVG AntiVirus, SUPERantispyware, AVG AntiRootkit and Ccleaner, I have successfullyremained infection free for the last 12 months with this combination, but what you have to bear in mind is 2 thing’s,
    1. mysurfing habits may be different to yours.
    2. new forms of malware are apearing every day and no protection method that works today, will be guaranteed to work successfuly in 3 to 6 months.

    free programs do the same job as paid one, however free ones usually are incomplete, like on free adware you can turn add-watch on.
