I’m an experienced freelance web designer and I’m going to start teaching web design at a small computer center. If I teach using Dreamweaver, I’m afraid the students will not bother to learn up HTML. But if I teach html and css coding with notepad, it seems to difficult or too tedious for beginners ?

Sometimes Dreamweaver will screw up – for example you make a selection in design view and it will grab part of a closing tag.

Because of this I like to work in split view. You should demonstrate this so they understand why it’s important to know the tags. Also demonstrate how copying text or code from a web page can lead to problems unless you paste into notepad first.

Everywhere I look only redirects me to the Adobe site to download CS4, I use CS3 at school so does anyone know where I can download it?

I’ve recently discovered lots of adware and spyware on my computer. The adware is terrible as I get pop-ups with naked women and pornography randomly coming up on the screen and this is not good with the younger kids go to use the computer. Marketing is a broad term with lots of facets, and the type of marketing that your company should engage in really depends on the nature of your business. Examples of marketing include paid advertising (print, online, tv, radio, billboard, etc…), trade show marketing, taking advantage of educational/speaking opps, product placement, retail / instore marketing, catalogs, informational collateral … the list is long….

What is the best keyboard for graphic design and serious typing? I have a mac and have been considering the apple wireless keyboard, but am wondering if the smaller size will be uncomfortable for serious typing.

For graphic design, you need to use a graphic pad consistent in size with the type of graphics you design.

For Harry Potter fans, I am in the middle of creating a Harry Potter fan-websit (it’ not complete yet…) and was wondering if you could tell me what else to add to it. What else would you like to see?

I need to write a complaint to a company that builds websites. They gave us a website that does not function as agreed upon. Does any one have any sample letters to complaining to a web design/ web programming company? Our goal is to give them a basic understanding of the problem and request a refund. I would write it out in letter form. make sure you use the proposal they sent you stating what they were going to do , and with different color font (red works) write underneath what part did not mean your expectations.

State how it has affected your business and how you would like a refund.
