I want to make a web design in adobe illustrator but I don’t know how to get it to dreamweaver.

Do I save it as an image and then plot the links out?

Yes. Do you have photoshop? Just move the illustrator image to photoshop and use the slice tool on the sides where the body of your site is going to be. Save for web, then right click the file to open with dreamweaver. There is a really great tutorial on youtube that helped me a lot, here is the link.

Send a letter to hotmail help\customer service. If you get e-mails from unknown people mark it as spam. Also it could be your computer make sure you download the latest versions of:

Adobe Shockwave Player
Microsoft Silverlight

Or get a new account and also CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD!!!!

ok, so i was F*ing around in my registry editor and i messed up i guess, my computer now opens programs SLOWLY!

now please, when i say free i mean all of it is free. I do not want to download it scan my computer and than be prompted to register so i can fix the problems that it scanned. If the registration is just giving out an email, that is ok, but don’t bring pay pal into this.

I bought Registry Defender V5 about a week ago and doesn’t seem to be working as well as I expected. Do you have any comments on any of this?

You’re going to have mistakes when using just about ANY registry cleaner. At one time or another, they will delete needed keys.. If you know what you are doing, it’s better to clean it out yourself… but let me say again, you have to know what you are doing or you may be left with re-installing your Windows.

If you are going to use one anyways… use Crap Cleaner (ccleaner)…

I work for a small yet top-heavy (I have 3 bosses – and the company is only 7 employees including them) marketing services firm as a web developer. I have various skills & experience including design and programming. I am frustrated at how much money I generate for the company yet how little I get paid, so am seriously considering starting my own firm that would provide web development and mobile development services. I’ve got some clients already due to side projects, but am nervous about generating enough work to stay afloat especially having a wife & 2 young kids at home. Really I’m not dependent on my current employer for anything besides salary, especially given the fact that we already pay for our own (expensive) health insurance. I’ve always wanted to start my own company and am feeling that now is the time. We’re already poor, so how much worse could it be.

My question is, what would be some creative, effective, yet cheap ways to generate some business for myself?

I’ve been doing web sites and web design/ programming for the past year. I’ve been in the industry for the past 11 years (making a lot of money for other people). Marketing my skill set on Craigslist has been highly effective.

You can go about it several different ways.

1)You can post your resume. But you will end up with full-time job offers if you do this.

2) you can post your skills in either creative services or computer services

3) you can set up an rss feed in your area of expertise and respond to jobs as they come on the posting board daily.

I would also recommend setting up a simple web page that lists your skills and has portfolio samples of your work. I began the year in need of work, now I have much more than I can take on. Good luck!

what is there to diverge on? "graphic design" is self explanatory

design suggests a higher level of understanding
graphic is a visual representation of an idea

Free hosting will come with ads but you can get affordable hosting using godaddy.com the domain is only 1.99 for the year if you host your site, and the hosting is 3.99 a month. so like $40.00 for the year. i wanna develop a social networking website but i really don’t know how to proceed. nowadays everyone is claiming to be the best in market. Thanx to recession. but i am really short of funds and i want to get my social networking website developed professionally.
i searched for web 2.0 firm on google and found few like Vinfotech, extendi, spring studio and few more but i don’t know which one to select? Can anyone help me with it. i found Vinfotech’s site nicely designed and excellent portfolio. In the portfolio section i found iForem which is backed by big Venture Capitalist – Stephen.

Web Designers with a pro levels are pretty much recession proof. Web 2.0 is expensive technology especially a full social network, I don’t know why people don’t just leave it to myspace or facebook already.

Wow, you have been designing webpages since you were 7??? That’s interesting. Well, take some of the websites that you’ve designed, make a portfolio, build your own business website, advsertise and voila! you own a web design company. You may also find it advantageous to incorporate. Business will come when you treat clients well and do good work.
